After two long years of battling with this horrible and frightening disease, I am free...and might I say, I was a pretty good fighter! After countless medications, one outpatient surgery, endless rounds of steroid injections, and weekly allergy injections the problem was taken care of by removing my entire middle ear. I'm completely deaf on my left side and still a bit wobbly, but I'm EXTREMELY happy.
Thanks be to God for holding me the entire way. And thank you to the awesome Dr. Owens of Owens Ear Center in Dallas.
Due to the complications of my extended illness and my recent surgery and recovery, this blog is officially under remodeling. Stay tuned for all new updates and what God has planned for our lives in Houston!
